Dear Santa,

This year, I think I've been pretty good. Or at least...not bad. Anyway, regardless, I shall submit to you my Christmas wishes and you can grant them as you see fit. Please, no more Lumps of Coal. My closet is full. Anyway, this year for Christmas, I would like;

Heroes Season 1 DVD set
A new Assignment Book
CDs
Books
A Heroes Calendar
Warm Sweaters
New Shirts
A new stocking cap (I lost my new one ALREADY. So sad.)
New Jeans
Sylar
Mohinder
Super Powers
Fame and Fortune
A Bach Stradivarius
A Gig Bag for said Strat
Talent (at anything)

Thats about it. I suppose I can only really hope for everything ABOVE Sylar on the list. But, I'd settle for getting nothing except for Sylar and/or Mohinder. Think about it. Just remember to leave them airholes when you wrap them.

Love,
Carolyn

Also, Sylar asked me to pass this along to you as well.

You scored as Lara Croft

A thrill-seeking, slightly unscrupulous, tough-as-nails archaeologist, Lara Croft travels the world in search of ancient relics perhaps better left hidden. So today was fun.

I did a lot. I went to all my classes, got back, sat down in front of my computer, drank a can of Double Size, Double Strength, Rock Star (Blech); vibrated for awhile while listening to music and reading Heroes Fanfiction (OMG I found some GOOD ONES) and doing Chem Homework, then went down to dinner. I don't usually drink energy drinks, and when I do, its usually Full Throttle because everything else tastes gross to me, and I didn't actually need to drink it or anything because I wasn't really tired at all, but I did anyway, because it has Taurine in it.

I'm so excited. Yesterday in my Integrative Biology discussion section we were examining the contents of energy drinks to see if they really do give you "More Energy". And the answer, in a purely Biochemical sense, is No. But that's only because by Biochemical standards the only form of energy comes from sugars and whatnot, not caffeine, or anything else they put in there. And energy drinks do have sugar, but not so much more that they'd give you tons of biochemical energy or whatever. What I found interesting though is that most energy drinks contain an Amino Acid called Taurine, which, while not an essential Amino Acid for Humans, it IS an essential amino acid for cats. It improves your concentration, reflexes, and coordination, and is thought (but not proven) to improve your memory.

So I was like, "Kick ass. I'm totally drinking energy drinks from now on." But I don't think I can handle that much caffeine all the time. I start getting twitchy and compulsively cleaning things. So now I wish I could just drink a can of distilled Taurine or something, so I can have super catlike reflexes and such. That would kick ass. I'm not sure if drinking large quantities of it would kill you or anything though. At the least, it would probably not taste very good. But then, neither does Rock Star. This matter bears more looking into.

After dinner today, me'n Jackie ran over to CRCE (One of the Gyms around Campus) to work out because I wanted to use the punching bags there to practice my kicks. Once there we ran for a about a half hour. Did crunches/abs. Looked for the punching bags, failed to locate them; found out they were *supposedly* in a room that was currently full or crazy ghetto cardboard dividers and what appeared to be a ping pong tournament. I saw no sign of my punching bags. I was extremely disappointed. I miss the Combat room in IMPE. Why oh why did they have to tear it down? Anyway, then me and Jackie ran back to the dorms, but it was pouring outside, and we go soaked. So then I played in puddles. Jackie watched from a dry area by the dorm entrance.

Then I went to go find people to go mud sliding with me, but no one would, so me and Jackie went to late night and got soaked again. Jackie attempted to buy me food to pay me back for food I bought her when she was out of credits. I told the card swipper that we had been out playing in the rain, and inadvertently convinced him that Jackie and I were lesbian lovers. As he was punching up our food, and Jackie tried to steal my food to pay for it again and I was like "No!" and she was like "No, let me pay for it," and were were arguing over who was gonna pay for the food, and then I was like "You can pay me back in sex later!" and the Card swipper was like "WHAT?" And looked thoroughly disturbed. His expression was hilarious. I think Jackie nearly died of embarrassment. It was hysterically funny. Jackie was like "Don't listen to her!" and walked away and the cardswipper was like, "You guys are kinda freaky, huh?".

There's not really any sort of roadblock between my brain and my mouth. And I was laughing too much to really correct him, anyway.

All in all, a day well spent.

Today is an awesome day! Why? Because I signed for my apartment for next year. It's super nice, and I get to live with two of my best friends, and I think its gonna work out really well. Also! A new episode of HEROES came out tonight XDDD *SQUEE* Nothing better! I'm in love with Sylar. And Mohinder. And Hiro! And. one of the newest additions, Takeizo(sp?) Kensei. Unfortunately, this episode had not nearly enough of any of them. I only got a mild dose of Sylar, and I don't think its nearly enough of a fix to tide me over til next week.

BUT OH MAN! I'm so excited, for next week. I'm practically salivating. NUTHER SYLAR ROAD TRIP!!! YAAAAY! And Maya and Alejandro saved him! He need to love them and become best friend with them forevers and then go and find Mohinder and get help for Maya, and then Mohinder will see what a great guy Sylar is on the inside really deep down and then they can be best friends forever too!

...

Just kidding

(But not really.)

Anyway, due to my newfound love of heroes, I've decided to drop out of college and become a movie star.

And, in conclusion, I made myself two AWESOME icons, which I think are awesome. Witness and be amazed, biotches.

Courtney, You may share my Sylar Icon if you so wish. I am feeling uber graceious. Sadly, you don't love Sylar nearly as much as I do, but I love you enough to share anyways.

Sooo no one knows me or cares who I am, but I don't think that's really the point of me writing anything anyway. I'm bored with nothing else to do. Well. I suppose I should be role playing with my new role play partner, but I am shirking my duties in favor or putzin' around the internet. Huzzah, huzzah.

Anywho, the University of Illinois and life in general is giving me a bit of a hard time, so I'm feeling a bit depressed. Also, my mother wants me to help her at her office all the time now, and though I do need money, I hate working there, so I am less than willing. I wish colonial would just give me some fucking waitressing hours.

The 'cafe' I work at has been shafting me like crazy lately and its too late in the summer to do anything about it in general, so I'm just griting my teeth and taking the few, grueling low-paid hours of ice cream scooping as opposed to my usual few hours of grueling, better paid waitressing. My job just sucks in general. The only bright side is that when I'm on ice cream duty and there's no one in the restaurant I can just sit back there and eat ice cream and the various candy toppings. Also, I've been scheduled lately with a hostess named Brittney, who's a doll, so we have a great time eating ice cream and talking when its not busy.

Also, we have gotten a venus flytrap at colonial, I'm assuming to try and kill off our fruit fly problem. They love all the fruit flavored syrups for the drinks and the ice cream toppings. Its the tiniest excuse of a venus flytrap that I've ever seen. Brittney and I have named it Calipso, but I'm going to talk to her about changing it to "Audrey III" when I work with her next (which will probably be saturday.) We spent last Sunday hunting for fruitflies(because, lets face it, that puny plant couldn't attract a starving fruitfly if it was the last plant on earth, let along sitting next to giant buckets of raspberry syrup) and fussing over Calipso until we got our dinner/icecream rush and actually had to do work.

Well, I think that's all I feel like talking about right now, and I think it's a respectable first post, if rather abrupt and confusing to anyone who doesn't already know me. Which is everyone who'll be reading this journal. But that's okay. Because, likely enough, no one will ever read this. And I'll probably never post here again anyway.

Ta!
